botonics Comment on Administration of Botox Injections at Consumer Show
botonics, London-based cosmetic surgery specialists who employ some of the most experienced medical professionals in the field, highlight their concern for the administration of on the spot Botox injections at London’s Vitality Show.
The health, beauty and fitness consumer show, the Vitality Show, recently took place in London’s Earl Court, and featured exhibitors predominantly offering organic foods, yoga accessories and makeup to visitors. Controversially, the Show also played host to an exhibit which offers wrinkle-relaxing/lip-plumping injections and other medical treatments which visitors can undergo on the spot.
Cosmetic surgery specialists botonics believe that the non-surgical nature of Botox injections is what has led to it becoming a seemingly complacent procedure, which can be performed in environments which are not sterile, or administered by qualified medical professionals.
“Consumers must remember that Botox and dermal filler treatments are medical undertakings and must be done in sanitary surroundings, as we do at botonics in our Harley Street clinic specifically designed for such treatments,” commented Bill Green, Managing Director of botonics. “Full medical history should be provided to anyone performing these procedures to identify any possible allergic reactions. We provide consultations for our clients to ensure that they fully understand and are comfortable with the procedures we perform on them; ensuring that clients know exactly what to expect and can have their procedures performed safely and with effective results.”
