botonics Comment On Surge Of Non-surgical Cosmetic Procedures
botonics, London-based cosmetic surgery specialists who employ some of the most experienced Plastic Surgeons in the field, highlight the growing popularity of the non-surgical treatments as offered by their specialist surgeons.
The amount of cosmetic treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers and many other less-invasive alternatives to surgery being carried out in the UK has risen from 950,000 in 2008 to 1.1 million in 2009, according to Mintel. These types of procedures are now even thought to account for 92% of all cosmetic surgery procedures performed.
It is the first time that the number of non-surgical procedures being performed has broken the 1 million barrier, and botonics feel that this surge in popularity over the last two years has been brought about by more and more clients seeing the long-lasting benefits that these treatments can have, and are therefore spreading the word about their effectiveness.
“Here at botonics, we believe that the rise in popularity of non-surgical cosmetic procedures is, in part, down to the amount of clients visiting cosmetic surgery specialists such as us and realising the benefits that these procedures have when performed by expertly-trained surgeons,” commented Bill Green, Managing Director of botonics. “This is encouraging more repeat clients as well as introducing more people to the effectiveness of more affordable non-surgical procedures, and we hope that by continuing to provide successful procedures that we may see the figures continue to rise in future years.”
