botonics Plastic Surgery Group Comment on Suitability of Plastic Surgery for Businessmen
botonics Plastic Surgery Group, London-based cosmetic surgery specialists who employ some of the most experienced medical professionals in the field, comment on recent findings which show increasing numbers of men undergoing cosmetic surgery procedures.
Non-invasive cosmetic surgery procedures such as dermal fillers and Botox have recently become very popular amongst businessmen, who are using these treatments to stay ahead in the job market. Such treatments leave clients with minimal downtime and can be performed quickly, and the inexpensiveness of such procedures has made them accessible to a wider clientele.
Having such procedures performed is believed by some businessmen to help them ‘edge out’ any competition from younger candidates in their field. Men are realising that appearance can make a difference to their prospects of obtaining a promotion or securing a job, and that those of them suffering from wrinkles and other signs of ageing may be discriminated against if they are competing for a job alongside younger men in their twenties and thirties.
“Investing in regular Botox injections or having dermal fillers could prove very worthwhile for businessmen, as it such treatments which can provide a career edge and help men to retain a more youthful appearance,” commented Bill Green, Managing Director of botonics Plastic Surgery Group. “The plastic surgery industry has previously been viewed as one dominated by female clients. However, the considerable rise in the number of men undergoing treatments for practical purposes is an indicator that these times have changed. We have seen a steady increase in the amount of male clients here at botonics Plastic Surgery Group, and are sure that this will continue in the future.”
