The cost of non-surgical nose enhancement depends on the volume of dermal filler required and starts from £600 for 1.0ml of Restylane Lyft. Unless the client has a very low nose bridge, we are able to resolve the majority of clients’ nose concerns with the 1.0ml treatment.
The duration of dermal filler is usually quoted as 6 – 12 months by the manufacturer. However, in our experience, the aesthetic benefit of a nose enhancement (e.g. masking a nose bump, lifting a nose tip, elevating a low bridge, straightening a bent nose, etc.) will be gone sooner even though filler remains. A typical pattern for nose enhancement clients is to have a nose enhancement 2 – 3 times in the first year, then 1 – 2 times/year thereafter. There are many factors that can shorten the duration of filler (e.g. fast metabolism, poor diet, smoking, lack of sleep, cardiovascular exercise, large muscle mass, etc.). We have no control over how long filler lasts once it is injected, and so can offer no warranty as to aesthetic duration. Once the body has got used to the filler, and we are working on an established foundation, then the aesthetic benefit starts to have a longer duration. For more information, please see this article: How long will my dermal filler last?
A non-surgical nose job involves the injection of dermal fillers into the nose for the instant correction of many aesthetic nose issues including: small dorsal hump, drooping tip, low nose bridge, crooked nose, ski slope nose, etc. The injections take only 10 – 15 minutes, results are instant and the treatment can be reversed if you don’t like how it looks. The treatment is NOT appropriate for making very large noses smaller, reducing bulbous nose tips, making very wide nostrils smaller, etc. For those concerns, we perform surgical rhinoplasty procedures.
It is normal to have some bruising and swelling following any dermal filler injection which can last several days. How obvious it is, and how quickly you recover, varies from person to person depending on underlying health and the extent to which you have followed our precare and aftercare advice. If you diligently avoid blood thinners and take arnica tablets PRIOR to treatment, and apply arnica cream, take acrivastine & bromelain and use HOT compresses AFTER treatment, you will recover as quickly as your body will allow. Follow this link for our nose enhancement precare and aftercare protocol.
No, we do not use such programmes because anything is possible using something like Photoshop, but that doesn’t mean it is physically possible to deliver that in a treatment. We prefer to show clients a range of actual client before and after photos improving similar concerns. That is a much more accurate representation of what is both possible and what can be delivered with the skill of the specialist.
Finance is available subject to status for treatments costing £600 or more. Finance must be applied for and approved prior to your appointment.
A nose tip that droops or dips when smiling, laughing or talking is a very common complaint. It is caused by a muscle connected to the tip of the nose called the depressor septi nasi being too strong. During a surgical rhinoplasty we routinely disable this muscle. During a non-surgical nose job, we can provide support to the nose tip to reduce the drooping on animation.
We advise clients to wait at least 18 months following any surgery to the nose before having non-surgical filler injections. The reason for the wait is that the nose cartilage takes a very long time to heal, and will continue to subtly change for a year and a half after surgery. We want to refine the healed nose so we can see what the end result looks like.
Although we can treat many noses non-surgically, for some people a surgical Rhinoplasty may be more appropriate. If you are unsure, why not send in some pictures to [email protected] which can be assessed for treatment suitability.
A non-surgical nose job and even a cosmetic surgical nose job will do nothing to improve breathing issues. We offer a Septoplasty procedure in such cases.
